They didn't leave because they saw that people who left were bombarded everywhere they saw that the South was not spared. They see that Israel has already called on major cities like Khan Yunis in the South to evacuate they see that if they leave their home they're killed anyway so they decided: if Israel is going to kill us let it kill us in our own home

While good on you that you mention these hostages and good that they are released they should be released I mean the Israeli hostages but why didn't you ask me about the Palestinian hostages the children that have been released that have been in Israeli prisons before the 7th of October you know we have hundreds of Palestinian children being grounded by Israel over years and years without charge without trial without access to lawyer or their own families and parents this is really unconscionable it doesn't even belong to our today and our humanity and there for this is a time to really focus on the overall system of Oppression.

I'll really tell you what's the difference; the difference is the first is done by individuals but the second is done by a state that sponsored an army the arm invades innocent people's houses in the middle of the night in the early hours of the morning wake up these children in the most terrifying way. It is disgraceful to even draw any Equity between a state that is a member of the UN that is Israel and its responsibility under international law and between individuals. So in fact the the lack of equity is to focus on "responsible" actions that they should perform in full accordance with international law.

This very same Hospital, the Baptist Ahly Hospital of Gaza was bombarded only two days before last night by the Israeli air strike and they recognize that. This very same hospital was designated by Israel as a place to be evacuated. This very same hospital the director of it was called by the Israeli occupation authorities asking him to evacuate all patients on mass. I believe the archbishop of Jerusalem when he condemns the Israeli air strike. I don't believe the Israeli mouthpieces and spokespeople, they lie more than they breathe and the record is very clear.

Let me explain this! Many people around the world believe that the two-state solution is a Palestinian demand. No, it's not. The two-state solution is a Palestinian concession because by the late 80s, the PLO was proposing one Democratic egalitarian state for all of its citizens be it Muslim be it Christian be it Jewish that was our political platform. But the world (i.e. the West-led world), primarily, the US proposed something else. They said no, we have to divide the land (i.e. The two-state Solution). By the late 80s, Yasser Arafat and the founders of the movement decided to Ally themselves with International resolutions and therefore we accepted the two-state solution, not as our demand, but as our compromise. Now here is the deal! We cannot accept less than the than the 1967 borders.

Israel keeps negotiating with us, not about how to achieve the 67 borders, no no, they want to arrive somewhere between Jerusalem and Jericho. So they want to bite more of the 22% of historic Palestine that is the 1967 borders and they don't understand that any Palestinian leader, will never be able to accept less than what was offered by the UN Security Council and they can never give more. This is the line.

This is really a sort of snapshot of this situation. Palestinian-Israeli conflict was not caused by Hamas or any other group. It's 100 years of conflict it's the conflict that caused and created all these Palestinian political and militant groups all through our history and perhaps the world needs to, particularly the US, go straight to the root cause of all this which is the illegal military occupation this is not an issue between Arabs and Arabs or Palestinians and Palestinians this is an issue with Israel's 56 years of occupation and 75 years of Nakba and ethnic cleansing and that's why you have the situation we have today and we need to go straightaway to the root cause.
