Didn't Israel tell people to evacuate to the South?

They didn't leave because they saw that people who left were bombarded everywhere they saw that the South was not spared. They see that Israel has already called on major cities like Khan Yunis in the South to evacuate they see that if they leave their home they're killed anyway so they decided: if Israel is going to kill us let it kill us in our own home
